We have developed a phased and robust reopening plan, however, these plans are subject to change as does the virus. We ask for your continued patience and prayers as we begin to implement this plan in hopes that, as it becomes safe to do so, it evolves and grows to accommodate more and more people and in-person worship services.

In-person worship IS now available to fully vaccinated ALFRED STREET members, including children as well as a limited number of fully vaccinated guest.

PRE-REGISTRATION:

We are no longer conducting pre-registration and verification of vaccination cards.  If you are confirmed to attend an in-person service, you will be asked to upload your card at that time. You do not have to have a vaccination card on file to receive an invitation to register.

If you have tried to upload your vaccination information before but have not received confirmation or are unsure if your information was received, feel free to contact us at welcomeback@alfredstreet.org to inquire about your status.

MEMBER REGISTRATION:

The Sunday before your DG is eligible to attend service, you will be sent an email inviting you to register. The link to register will be sent to the email address associated with your REALM profile. Invitations are sent to every adult member in the designated DGs, regardless of pre-registration

    • This invitation is your opportunity to let us know that you desire to join us in worship.
    • Every ADULT member must register individually, even if you are planning to come as a family. This is necessary to help us with contact tracing as well as planning appropriately so as not to exceed capacity.
    • If you would like to bring a fully vaccinated child under the age of 18, you will have an opportunity to indicate this on your registration form.
    • Proof of vaccination for the minor child will be requested. Registration of the child will not be complete unless provided and they will not be allowed to enter. 

GUEST REGISTRATION:

The link for general registration opens every Sunday at 3pm and closes once all spaces have been claimed OR on Monday at 3pm, whichever comes first. The link can be found in the slideshow of the Home page and on the Events page. Registration is open to ANYONE who is fully vaccinated. This includes non-members as well as members who are not in the designated DG groups for the upcoming week.

Registration Confirmation and Vaccination Verification:

After registration, you will receive a series of text messages from 42Chat, a secure document upload and verification service. The number these messages will come from is 855.649.0313.

In the text messages and subsequent links, you will see the following:

  • A reminder that all attendees must provide proof of vaccination before attending as well as other pertinent information
  • A link to upload your vaccination card.
    • Even if you have previously provided this information, it is important that you click this link to receive your GREEN CHECK for entry. 
    • If you have already provided proof of vaccination and your information has been verified, you will see a GREEN CHECK indicating that your information has been validated within our system. If you not, you will be asked to upload your card again. We apologize if this causes you any inconvenience.
  • Once your information has been verified, you will receive a message stating that you are approved to attend with a link to confirm your attendance. If you are no longer able to attend in-person service, this is how you should alert us of your status change.
  • Finally, you will receive a health screening/COVID questionnaire that must be completed before entry 

If you have registered a child or children, you will receive a separate email requesting a picture of their vaccination record. Parent and child registration ARE NOT contingent upon on another.

PLEASE NOTE: Displaying a GREEN CHECK is the only way to gain admittance unless you have been instructed to see someone at the Help Desk upon arrival.

ATTENDANCE BY DISCIPLESHIP GROUP 

Realizing that the weekly desire to be back in worship will be higher than our initial capacity of 250 members and in an attempt to create an equal and fair opportunity for all members, the leadership of the church has prayerfully agreed to the schedule below. The Sunday you are eligible to attend in-person worship is determined by your discipleship group. If there is a fifth Sunday in a particular month, we will use that for members who have been wait-listed on their eligible Sunday. Your deacons will be in contact and send reminders of the weekends your group is eligible for worship.

Once Registered:

You will be sent a COVID-19 questionnaire and receive a QR code for entry.

Each Member Will Be:

  1. Greeted and asked to sanitize their hands
  2. Asked to place their wrist in front of wireless temperature check monitor
  3. Asked to display their GREEN CHECK
  4. Greeted by an usher at the center doors and escorted to a seat in the sanctuary

During the Worship Experience:

Members will be escorted to the restroom facilities by greeters if necessary

Exiting Worship

After service, you will be directed by an usher when your row can exit the building
