Who is Crossover?

What is Crossover
Crossover is an opportunity for Alfred Street youth to connect with God, their peers and adults in a fun, engaging and unique atmosphere where they can learn about God in a format that speaks to them at their level. Not only will attendees grow in their personal journey with God, but they will be able to creatively express themselves and discuss life’s challenges and triumphs as well as build relationships with their peers in a relaxing atmosphere as they begin their ‘crossover’ into their early teenage years.
Why Crossover
Our 6th, 7th, and 8th graders now enter a time in their lives where new, tempting, intimidating yet exciting things are happening to them each. Every day it is up to us to provide a safe environment for them to pray, enhance their Christian journey, and connect with each other as we help them make sense out of life’s challenges.

• Creative/Activity Team
• Culinary Team Members
• Music Team Members
• Set Up and Clean Up Crew
• Check In and Check Out
VOLUNTEER Requirements
• Love to interact and enhance the lives of youth
• Have a ‘sweet spot’ for youth in middle school
• A member of ASBC and involved in our church activities for at least 90 days following the Right Hand of Fellowship
• Complete and successfully pass the ASBC Background Investigation Checks
