The study of God’s word is central to the life and mission of the Alfred Street Baptist Church. Adult Bible Study meets every Tuesday evening for devotions at 6:30 followed by an engaging, dynamic and informative exploration of the Holy Scriptures. All are welcome, but be warned: continued exposure to God’s word will change your life.

Men’s Bible Study offers a unique opportunity for men to gather to study God’s word, with a particular focus on topics relevant to life as Christian men. Men’s Bible Study is held every first Saturday at 8:00 a.m. in conjunction with our monthly Men’s Fellowship breakfast at 7:15 a.m. and our Men’s Ministry Meeting at 9:00 a.m.

Women of the Word, (WOW), brings women together to grow together. Small groups of 15-20 women of all ages and backgrounds meet throughout the week in homes or at the church for Bible study, discussion, prayer and fellowship.

Senior Bible Study meets twice a month on Wednesdays at 12:00. This class is designed to address the interests and needs of our seasoned saints. It includes a time of prayer and provides an opportunity for participants to share their wisdom. The one hour format is followed by a period of food and fellowship in the multipurpose room.
